- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
The Direct may assess a service and handling charge or fee for the acquisition, warehousing, distribution, or transfer of any Federal surplus property, within limits established by Federal law, which charge or fee shall be limited to that reasonably related to the costs of care and handling in respect to its acquisition, receipt, warehousing, distribution or transfer by the Department and, in the case of real property, such charges and fees shall be limited to the reasonable administrative costs of the Department incurred in effecting transfer.
