  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.

The director of finance may certify, under the seal of the director’s department, copies of vouchers and other documents deposited in the director’s office; and copies so certified shall be as valid evidence in any court as the originals.
