Terms Used In Idaho Code 23-508

  • Precedent: A court decision in an earlier case with facts and law similar to a dispute currently before a court. Precedent will ordinarily govern the decision of a later similar case, unless a party can show that it was wrongly decided or that it differed in some significant way.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
As a condition precedent to the issuance of a manufacturer’s license, the applicant shall post a bond, written by a surety company authorized to do business in Idaho, in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), conditioned for the faithful observation of the provisions of this act and the rules of the division promulgated thereunder. For a violation of the conditions thereof, said bond shall be forfeited to the state of Idaho, and any recovery thereon shall be covered into the liquor fund.
