Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 205 ILCS 645/14

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
     The assets held to satisfy the assets to liabilities relationship, prescribed by the Commissioner, pursuant to Section 13 of this Act shall include obligations of any person for money borrowed from a foreign banking corporation holding a certificate of authority issued pursuant to this Act only to the extent that the total of such obligations of any person are not more than 10% of such assets considered for purposes of Section 13.
