  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Authority may enter into a State Guarantee with a lender, or a person holding a note, of a loan or loans to a qualified veteran-owned small business and may make payment, in whole or in part, on a State Guarantee from any of the following funds in such order and in such amounts as the Authority shall determine: (1) the Industrial Project Insurance Fund (if the Authority exercises its discretion under subsection (j) of Section 805-20); (2) the Illinois Agricultural Loan Guarantee Fund; or (3) the Illinois Farmer and Agribusiness Loan Guarantee Fund.
