Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 3510/5

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Bonds issued by the Authority under this Act shall be limited obligations of the Authority payable solely from such revenues, securities, funds, and other assets as the resolution of the Authority authorizing issuance of the bonds shall provide. Bonds issued by the Authority under this Act shall not constitute a general obligation or debt of the Authority, the State or any political subdivision of the State.
