Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 62/10

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Any violation of this Act may be enjoined in an action brought in the name of the People of the State of Illinois by the State’s Attorney of the county in which the violation occurs, upon receipt of a complaint by the aggrieved physician or health facility.
