     To see that a mine examiner makes the examinations provided in Articles 5, 6, and 31 of this Act and that he enters his report either by calling the results of the examination to a recorder on the surface or by personally recording the report. The recorder or mine examiner shall record the report in a book or computer system that is provided by the operator for that purpose, and the book or computer system shall be secure and not susceptible to alteration.
