- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
As evidence of his examination of said doors, rooms and roadways as provided for in this Article, he shall inscribe with chalk in some suitable place on the doors, the roof or walls of rooms and roadways, but not on the face of the coal, his initials and the date of his examination.
