Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 30 ILCS 315/2.01

  • Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     “Bond” includes general obligation bonds, revenue bonds and refunding bonds heretofore or hereafter issued by the State of Illinois, or by any local governmental entity as well as any coupons issued in connection therewith.
