  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
     The amount of $250,000,000 is authorized to be issued only during fiscal year 2010 for the making of deposits into the Healthcare Provider Relief Fund for the exclusive purpose of funding Medicaid services subject to the enhanced federal participation due to expire on December 31, 2010. Notwithstanding this Act or any other law to the contrary, bonds issued under this Section must be payable within one year after their date of issuance.
