- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
The governing body shall not adopt the ordinance selling the non-referendum general obligation bonds or limited bonds for a period of 7 days after the final adjournment of the public hearing held under this Act.
