Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 30 ILCS 405/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The State of Illinois is authorized to issue and sell and provide for the retirement of bonds of the State of Illinois to the amount of $599,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds for use in this State for the protection of the environment through the control of water pollution.
