Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 30 ILCS 435/15

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
     A State agency may include a provision authorizing payment to a bond trustee in accordance with Section 20 in any new or renewed contract with a service provider under which the provider is paid or reimbursed by the State for providing human services to persons in Illinois. At the request of a service provider, a State agency may agree to amend an existing human services contract to authorize payment to a bond trustee in accordance with Section 20.
