Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 30 ILCS 535/55

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Freedom of Information Act: A federal law that mandates that all the records created and kept by federal agencies in the executive branch of government must be open for public inspection and copying.   • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Each State agency shall evaluate the performance of each firm upon completion of a contract. That evaluation shall be made available to the firm who may submit a written response, with the evaluation and response retained solely by the agency. The evaluation and response shall not be made available to any other person or firm and is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
