Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 40 ILCS 5/14-132.2

  • Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Notwithstanding any other law, on the first day of each month, or as soon thereafter as practical, the System shall pay over to the State for deposit into the General Obligation Retirement and Interest Fund all amounts previously received by the System pursuant to Section 14-135.08(b) representing additional amounts to pay principal of and interest on general obligation bonds authorized by Section 7.2(a) of the General Obligation Bond Act and issued to provide those proceeds deposited by the State with the System in July 2003, representing deposits other than amounts reserved under Section 7.2 of the General Obligation Bond Act.
