  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Pet Population Control Fund is established as a special fund in the State treasury. The moneys generated from Pet Friendly license plates under § 3-653 of the Illinois Vehicle Code and from voluntary contributions must be kept in the Fund and shall be used only to sterilize and vaccinate dogs and cats in this State under the program, to promote the sterilization program, to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, and for reasonable administrative and personnel costs related to the Fund.
