Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 55 ILCS 5/5-1111

  • County board: means the board of county commissioners in counties not under township organization, and the board of supervisors in counties under township organization, and the board of commissioners of Cook County. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.07
     The county board of every county containing 500,000 or more inhabitants which issues building permits shall require each applicant for such a building permit to include, in his application for said building permit, the real estate index number referred to in Section 5-1110 hereof.
