Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 55 ILCS 5/5-43040
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
This Division does not affect the validity of systems of administrative adjudication that were authorized by State law, including home rule authority, and in existence before July 29, 2010 (the effective date of Public Act 96-1386).
