Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/11-74.5-11

  • Home: means real property and improvements thereon located within the municipality consisting of not more than 4 dwelling units, including but not limited to, condominium units owned by one mortgagor who occupies or intends to occupy one of such units. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/11-74.5-2
  • Municipalities: has the meaning established in Section 1 of Article VII of the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.27
     One or more municipalities (whether or not any of them are home rule units) may join together or cooperate with one another in the exercise, either jointly or otherwise, of any one or more of the powers conferred upon municipalities under this Division or other enabling acts or powers. Such joint or cooperative action shall be taken only in accordance with and pursuant to a written agreement entered into between or among such cooperating parties.
