Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 805 ILCS 315/33

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     For filing articles of incorporation, an association organized hereunder shall pay $100; and for filing an amendment to the articles, $25. Fees for filing articles of incorporation or an amendment to the articles shall be paid to the Secretary of State.
