- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
Sec. 10. Subject to IC 25-1-2-6(e), a license or registration certificate issued under this article is valid for the remainder of the renewal period in effect on the date of issuance.
