Sec. 34. The election division, not later than noon:
(1) on the date for correcting an error under Ind. Code § 3-12-5-14; or
(2) seven (7) days after receipt of the final recount certificate transmitted under Ind. Code § 3-12-6-31 or Ind. Code § 3-12-11-18;
whichever occurs later, shall canvass the votes cast for candidates required to file a declaration of candidacy with the election division under Ind. Code § 3-8-2 and tabulate the result as provided in Ind. Code § 3-12.
