Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

   Sec. 10. A person who recklessly votes at an election, unless the person is a registered voter under the requirements of Ind. Code § 3-7 at the time of the election, commits a Class A misdemeanor.
