Sec. 19. (a) A person who knowingly:
For details, see Ind. Code § 35-50-2-7(2) prints or circulates an imitation ballot;
(1) forges or falsely makes the official endorsement of a ballot; or

Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |
|---|---|---|
| Level 6 felony | between 6 mos. and 2 1/2 years | up to $10,000 |
commits a Level 6 felony.
(b) This section does not prohibit the:
(1) printing or circulation of a sample ballot or a reproduction of an official ballot if the sample or reproduction complies with Ind. Code § 3-9-3-2.5 and the printing or circulation does not violate Ind. Code § 3-14-1-2; or
(2) displaying of a sample ballot under Ind. Code § 3-11-3-25, Ind. Code § 3-11-11-1.3, Ind. Code § 3-11-13-10.5, or Ind. Code § 3-11-14-18.5.
