Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, “GIS” refers to the geographic information system maintained by the office that contains the following information:
(2) Election history and supplemental geographic information compiled by the legislative services agency.
(1) Geographic and population information provided in the official census report to the state by the United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, in reporting the 2020 decennial census of Indiana.

- office: refers to the office of census data of the legislative services agency. See Indiana Code 3-3-4-4
- Population: has the meaning set forth in Ind. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- United States: includes the District of Columbia and the commonwealths, possessions, states in free association with the United States, and the territories. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
