Terms Used In Indiana Code 3-5-10-3

  • redistricting authority: refers to the body or other authority that is required to redraw election districts for local or school board offices. See Indiana Code 3-5-10-6
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
   Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, “applicable statute” refers to the statute under which a redistricting authority is required to establish election districts.
