Sec. 5. The execution must:
(2) be directed to the sheriff of the county;
(1) issue in the name of the state;

- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Sheriff: means the sheriff of the county or another person authorized to perform sheriff's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(3) be sealed with the seal of the court; and
(4) attested by the clerk of the court.
