- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
If any section of this act, or acts amendatory thereto, shall be declared unconstitutional for any reason, the remainder of the act or acts amendatory thereto, shall not be affected thereby.
