  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

That five or more persons may form a corporation for the purpose of promoting the interest and welfare of labor and industry, which corporation shall not engage in business for profit; and no such corporation shall be required to pay any corporation taxes or any fees except filing and recording fees; the affairs of such corporation shall be managed by a board of directors composed of not less than five members.
