- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $100, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 60 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
