Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 25-1125

  • Residence: means the place which is adopted by a person as the person's place of habitation and to which, whenever the person is absent, the person has the intention of returning. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The place of residence for registration purposes, so far as the same shall apply to the provisions of this act, shall be construed to be the place at which the voter last resided prior to his temporary absence from his county upon such election day and to which he has the intention of returning, as a place of fixed residence, as stated in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 25-1119.
