Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 25-127

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

No person shall serve as a county election officer if such person has been convicted of any crime described inchapter 25 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto, or of any crime in any other jurisdiction that is substantially the same as any such crime.
