- General election: refers to the election required to be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
No notice of any city election of any city officer shall be required. Notices of bond elections and other question submitted elections held on the same day as either a city primary election or city general election shall be prepared and published as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 25-105, by the county election officer.
