Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 37-115

  • Impeachment: (1) The process of calling something into question, as in "impeaching the testimony of a witness." (2) The constitutional process whereby the House of Representatives may "impeach" (accuse of misconduct) high officers of the federal government for trial in the Senate.

Each member of the board of managers of the house while actually employed upon such impeachment when the legislature is not in session, shall receive compensation and travel expenses and subsistence expenses or allowances as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-3212, as amended.
