  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.

The provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 60-721, 60-722, 60-723 and 60-724, and amendment thereto, shall be applicable to lawsuits filed pursuant to the code of civil procedure for limited actions.
