- Board: means the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:3200
- License: means a certificate issued by the board authorizing the licensee to use radioactive materials or equipment emitting or detecting ionizing radiation on humans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:3200
The board shall issue a license without examination to persons who are licensed as radiologic technologists under the laws of other states provided that the standards under which they were licensed are at least as stringent as those established by the board.
