Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:3252

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Board: means the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:3241

The board shall promulgate regulations in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act to provide notice and opportunity for hearing an appeal of any decision made pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 37:3251.
