- Department: means the Louisiana Department of Health. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2703
- Tanning facility: means any location, place, area, structure, or business which provides consumers access to tanning equipment. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2703
A tanning device used by a tanning facility shall comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations. Except as otherwise ordered or approved by the department, each tanning facility shall be constructed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the requirements of La. Rev. Stat. 40:2710 through 2714.
