Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 31 Sec. 1392

  • Partner: means a limited partner or general partner. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 31 Sec. 1302
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Partnership agreement: means the partners' agreement, whether oral, implied, in a record or in any combination, concerning the limited partnership. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 31 Sec. 1302
On application by a partner, the Superior Court may order dissolution of a limited partnership if it is not reasonably practicable to carry on the activities of the limited partnership in conformity with the partnership agreement. [PL 2005, c. 543, Pt. C, §2 (NEW).]
