Terms Used In Michigan Laws 12.132
- Department: means the department of treasury. See Michigan Laws 12.131
- Funding unit: means 1 of the following, as applicable:
(i) For a circuit other than the third circuit of the circuit court, each county in the circuit. See Michigan Laws 12.131state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
The department, and a circuit, district, or municipal court, together with its funding unit if its funding unit is not the state, may enter into an agreement as provided in section 3.
