Michigan Laws 18.1452 – Payment and use of amounts appropriated in budget act

(1) The amounts appropriated in a budget act shall be paid out of the state treasury at a time and in a manner as provided by law.

(2) Each of the amounts appropriated shall be used solely for the respective purposes stated in the budget act except as otherwise provided by law.

state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.
