  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.   (1) Beginning January 1, 2007, a person shall not sell an implement of husbandry that does not comply with this section. This section does not apply to an implement of husbandry that was manufactured before January 1, 2007.
  (2) An implement of husbandry shall comply with the following, which are incorporated by reference:
  (a) ANSI/ASAE S276.6 JAN2005, Slow-Moving Vehicle Identification Emblem.
  (b) ANSI/ASAE S279.12 DEC02, Lighting and Marking of Agricultural Equipment on Highways.
  (3) The secretary of state shall post, on its website, the standards incorporated by reference under subsection (2) not later than 30 days after enactment of the amendatory act that added this section.
