Terms Used In Michigan Laws 287.335
- Department: means the state department of agriculture and rural development. See Michigan Laws 287.331
- Director: means the director of the department or his or her authorized representative. See Michigan Laws 287.331
- Pet shop: means a place where animals are sold or offered for sale, exchange, or transfer. See Michigan Laws 287.331
The director of agriculture shall not issue a license to operate a pet shop until he has inspected the premises to assure that it complies with the provisions of this act and the rules of the department of agriculture.
