- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
All by-laws, so established by the corporation, shall take effect 10 days after passage and each of said by-laws shall be posted conspicuously in 3 public places within the jurisdictional area of said corporation, at least 5 days before the time of taking effect and proof of such posting shall be made by an officer of the corporation and entered on the records of said corporation. Complete and accurate copies of all by-laws shall be kept, at the office of the corporation, for public inspection.
