Terms Used In Michigan Laws 457.1

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    That any number of persons of English birth, who may now or hereafter be residents of this state, or the descendants of such persons in the first or second degree, may be incorporated in pursuance of the provision of this act.
