Terms Used In Michigan Laws 460.1179
- Distributed generation program: means the program established by the commission under section 173. See Michigan Laws 460.1003
- Renewable energy: means electricity or steam generated using a renewable energy system. See Michigan Laws 460.1011
- Site: means a contiguous site, regardless of the number of meters at that site. See Michigan Laws 460.1013
A customer shall own any renewable energy credits granted for electricity generated on the customer’s site under the distributed generation program created in this part.
