  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    Any telegraph company, association, firm, copartnership or individual, complying with the requirements of this act, and receiving the certificate or license from the state treasurer of this state, shall be permitted to do business freely in any part of this state.
