Subdivision 1.Scope.
The sections referred to in this section are codified outside this chapter. Those sections classify court services data as other than public, place restrictions on access to government data, or involve data sharing.
Subd. 2.Name changes of protected witnesses and victims.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 13.841
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Government data: means all data collected, created, received, maintained or disseminated by any government entity regardless of its physical form, storage media or conditions of use. See Minnesota Statutes 13.02
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44

Court records of name changes of participants in a witness and victim protection program are governed by section 259.10, subdivision 2.

Felony conviction data reported to the secretary of state is governed by section 201.145.
