17-7-134. Pension state special revenue account. (1) There is a pension state special revenue account to the credit of the department of administration.
Terms Used In Montana Code 17-7-134
- Budget stabilization reserve: means the amount of unappropriated fund balance in the budget stabilization reserve fund up to 16% of all general revenue appropriations in the second year of the biennium. See Montana Code 17-7-102
- Program: means a principal organizational or budgetary unit within an agency. See Montana Code 17-7-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
(2)The account is funded by a distribution pursuant to 17-7-130.
(3)Funds in the account may only be used to transfer into:
(a)a state-administered pension fund;
(b)the budget stabilization reserve fund provided for in 17-7-130;
(c)the fire suppression account provided for in 76-13-150; or
(d)the capital developments long-range building program account provided for in 17-7-209.
(4)The fund is subject to legislative transfer.
